Newer VHS-C units can vary from older VHS models in that.
(1) Almost anything fake used to look real (such as a model house or whatever) now it can be very lighting dependent. The newer breed is less forgiving.
(1.5) You could end up taping an additional 1 1/2 feet in all directions of you viewfinder or LCD screen.

Wrestlers make good stuntmen but don't let them use wrestling moves. Nothing screws up the believability of a fight scene like a bodyslam or a steel chair to the head.

Always try to shoot indoors unless you must be outside... (You can control the light, and shoot in any direction you please.)

Always bring the change bag on location, even if you load a couple mags off set. You never know when the camera is gunna f-up.
